Owners Alain and Anne-Sophie Lancereau were childhood sweethearts, and bought this place as a fulfillment of a dream back in 2003. Alain worked previously as a management consultant, Anne-Sophie as an artist, and they have applied both skills in renovating and running this lovely estate, set on an outcrop overlooking the Garonne estuary in Blaye. They offer chambres d’hôtes at the château with five individually furnished bedrooms, and also offer interesting single grape variety tastings.
