Easily one of Blaye’s best estates, and well geared up for receiving visitors. There is a well stocked boutique which sells food and local gastronomic goodies direct (but only delivers within France), and a lovely terrace with views over the vineyard and the pretty village of Cubnezais. Also interesting to look out for the lyre training in the vineyard as opposed to the more usual Bordeaux style of guyot - this helps encourage earlier ripening. Best wines here are Haut-Bertinerie, and a very good white, all made by Daniel Bantegnies.
