This pretty château up in the village of Ormes, a tiny hamlet of Saint Estèphe, is a great place to stay, and very good value. Five charming rooms and an attractive courtyard entrance. There is also a  table d'hôtes  for up to 14 people, where classic and well proportioned meals typically include starter, grilled  entrecôte à la bordelaise  (served with shallots and a red wine sauce ) , seasonal vegetables, cheese and dessert, plus a selection of wine menus that run from run from €13 to €28. The estate's own wines are very good also. Possibility to hire the entire château.
