Itineraries

ONE DAY VISIT

MORNING
Breakfast in one of the boulangeries in Léognan village, before heading off to your first château.
Visit 1: Château La Louvière (or Château Carbonnieux)
Visit 2: Château Haut Bailly
Lunch: Table du Lavoir, Source de Caudalie

AFTERNOON
You may as well make the most of your surroundings this afternoon…
Visit 1: Château Smith Haut Lafitte (right across the vines from your lunch table – make sure you ask when you arrive for lunch, if you haven’t book a visit ahead, and they can make the arrangements for you).
Activity 1: After your visit, head back to Source de Caudalie and get straight into the spa… and relax.

 

TWO DAY VISIT

Day One

MORNING
Breakfast in one of the boulangeries in Léognan village, before heading off to your first château.
Visit 1: Château La Louvière
Visit 2: Château Haut Bailly
Lunch: Table du Lavoir, Source de Caudalie

AFTERNOON
Visit 1: Château Smith Haut Lafitte (right across the vines from your lunch table – make sure you ask when you arrive for lunch, if you haven’t book a visit ahead, and they can make the arrangements for you).
Activity 1: After your visit, head back to Source de Caudalie and get straight into the spa… and relax. Best to spend the night there too!

Day Two

MORNING
Breakfast at Source de Caudalie (or wherever you have chosen to stay)
Visit 1: Château Brown
Visit 2: Château Haut Bacalan
Lunch: Restaurant Jean Marie Amat

AFTERNOON
Visit 3: Château Haut Brion
Visit 4: Château Pape Clement
From here you can easily go back into Bordeaux.
