One of the rising stars of Fronsac, well located right off the main street of the village, an easy five minute walk from the Maison du Vin. The last few years have seen significant investment both in the building itself and the vinification areas. Owner Jean Halley’s son runs the estate, Guillaume Halley, who also owns a supermarket in Bordeaux centre, giving him the unusual vantage point of both buyer and seller. The château has introduced a second wine in the last few years, Delphis de la Dauphine, which is also available to taste. The modern circular cellars and winemaking areas are very impressive and meticulously designed. Everything is done by gravity, but made simple by features like rotating walkways above the stainless steel tanks.

Useful information: Free tour and tasting Monday to Friday 09.00-12.00, 14.00-18.00. By appointment - Saturday sometimes possible. English spoken, groups (up to 25) welcome. Wines can be bought direct. Large entertainment rooms are available for hire.
