Owned by the Nebout family since 1932, this friendly château follows sustainable winemaking practices, and has vines reaching up to 70 years old. Eleven hectares of vines, close to Château Figeac at the border with Saint Emilion, with 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc. The same family owns Château Paillette Villemaurine in Saint Emilion. A good visit to understand how much Pomerol is centered around traditional, meticulous winemaking techniques of hand picking, hand sorting, manual punching down.

Useful information: Open year round for visits and tasting, Monday to Friday 09.00-17.00, weekends by appointment. English spoken.
