International prize winner in the 2009 Best of Wine Tourism awards. Run by a New Zealand-French couple, this is a real treat – five individually-furnished rooms in a large estate with park, forest and vines. There is even a super friendly Bernese mountain dog to greet you as you arrive at this chambres d’hôtes château. The rooms are well decorated, in a classic French style. For summer 2011, they are serving afternoon tea in their tea-leaf garden.

Useful information: Rooms: €85-€135 including breakfast. Evening meals with advanced reservation: €27 not including wine. Teas available in summer on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Closed December - February inclusive.
