One of Chablis’s largest producers, with 100ha of vines, as well as a négociant business. Also produces wine in the Languedoc, Chile and South Africa. The business has recently been incorporated into the Jeanjean empire, large producers and owners of estates scattered mainly over southern France. This is the address of the shop from where there are daily weekday visits at 14.00 without appointment. You will see the cellars of the Obédiencerie, one of Chablis’s oldest buildings, dating from 9th and 10th centuries, as well as the 13th century press. The tour is followed by a tasting of three wines and lasts an hour. Alternatively for a minimum of eight people you can arrange a more extensive tour and tasting.

Useful information: Visite Dégustation costs €10 per person and takes about an hour and a half.  The Visite Gourmande includes canapés as well as a wine tasting for €16 and the Visite Vignoble lasts two hours and takes you out into the vineyards as well as providing a tasting, for €30. Shop open 10.00-12.30 and 14.00-18.00 Monday – Saturday and 10.00 – 13.00 and 15.00 – 18.00 on Sundays. Telephone for tour reservations. English, French and Dutch spoken.
