Russell Hone and Jean-Pierre Renard

Russell has been in the wine trade since 1968 working in England, Germany, France, and Hungary. He collaborated for five years as wine consultant for Richard Olney on the Time-Life Good Cook series. He has lived and worked in Burgundy since 1985 and is married to Becky Wasserman of Le Serbet ( exporting domaine wines to England and the USA. He often leads tastings and arranges vineyard tours for trade clients. Pursuits include cooking and reading cookery books.

Jean-Pierre teaches wine appreciation and tasting at the Beaune Centre for Continuing Education, the University of Burgundy and at the "Ecole des Vins de Bourgogne" run by the BIVB (Bureau Interprofessionnel des Vins de Bourgogne). He also organises tailor-made, personal visits to Burgundy. Jean-Pierre's talent as a wine taster has long been established. For more details, view his own website:
