The first true wine bar in Beaune opened in 1985. The Bistrot Bourguignon gives you the chance to taste Burgundies from a number of excellent producers. Ideally located, 150m from the Hospices de Beaune, it is right in the heart of the pedestrian area. The cuisine here is classic (Salade au fromage de Cîteaux, Onglet de veau, Risotto à la crème de bolets, etc..) and 40% of the menu is changed every four months. The atmosphere reflects the fact that the owner, Jean-Jacques Hegner is a great jazz fan.
Useful information: Menus from €12.90 and à la carte from €14.80. Wine by the glass from €3.50 . Bar open Tuesday to Saturday from 11.00-15.00 and after 18.00; food is served from 12.15-14.00 and from 19.15-21.30.
