English couple Michael and Fiona worked in the UK wine trade for over a decade, until they made the move to live in the heart of the Côte de Beaune in the village of Aloxe Corton. Michael already had many Burgundy grower contacts through the fine wine business in London, and through these was able to set up a small négociant business focussing on terroir specific wines, and presenting them with simple labels, easy to understand by foreign markets. In 2006 they opened a cellar door shop and tasting room to sell their wines to passing trade and private wine buyers. They always have three or four bottles open for tasting and will open more for serious buyers. They have a range from simple generic and village appellations up to Grand Crus, mainly focussed on the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits.

Useful information: Open from late March to late November. Make an appointment for other times or to arrange a special tasting (serious buyers only, please).
