Ideal One-Day Itinerary

MORNING
Coffee and croissant on the terrace of one of the Nuits-Saint-Georges cafés
Visit Château du Clos de Vougeot
Visit Domaine Bertagna
Lunch at ‘Bonbistro’, the bistrot of the Rôtisserie du Chambertin

AFTERNOON
Take the ‘Route des Grand Crus’ to Vosne-Romanée.
Park the car to walk behind the church to admire the vineyard of Romanée-Conti
Return to Nuits-Saint-Georges
Visit Domaine Chantal-Lescure
Visit l’Imaginarium
Dinner and overnight at La Gentilhommière

 

Ideal Two-Day Itinerary

Day One

MORNING
Start the day with a visit around the city of Dijon (including the old town and the Musée des Beaux Arts)
Lunch in one of the many small restaurants in the old city (try Le Cézanne, 38 Rue Amiral Roussin - Tel: 03 80 58 91 92. Cuisine inspired by Provence, with menus from €16, closed Sundays and Monday lunch).

AFTERNOON
Drive to Gevrey-Chambertin
Visit 1: Domaine Drouhin-Laroze
Visit 2: Domaine Herestzyn
Visit the Château de Gevrey-Chambertin
Dinner at Chez Guy
Overnight at the Hotel de Vougeot

Day Two

MORNING
Visit 1: Domaine Bertagna
Visit 2: Château du Clos de Vougeot
Drive to Vosne-Romanée, park the car to walk behind the church to admire the vineyard of Romanée-Conti
Lunch at Bonbistro, the bistrot of the Rôtisserie du Chambertin

AFTERNOON
Drive back Nuits-Saint-Georges via the ‘Route des Grands crus’
Visit Domaine Chantal-Lescure
Visit l’Imaginarium
Dinner and overnight at La Gentilhommière.
