Domaine Bertagna is included in this list both because the estate offers wines from 18 appellations but also because they are geared up to wine tourists with both a tasting room and a small hotel attached to the estate (see ‘Places to Stay’). Their website goes into great detail about the history of the domaine and its viticultural and vinification techniques. The wines are well-coloured, full-bodied, with lovely bouquets. For the visitor who can only spend a short time in Burgundy, this is an excellent presentation of the wines of the Côte de Nuits.
