This 12ha domaine, founded in the mid-1850s, has remained in the family and is managed today by Philippe and Christine Drouhin. Their holdings include many of the great Grand Crus: Chambertin, Chambertin Clos de Bèze, Chapelle-Chambertin, Latricières Chambertin and Clos Vougeot. There are four Gevrey Premier Crus and three village wines. Their excellent website, both in French and English, fully describes their work in the vineyards and winery. The style of the domaine is generally thought of as traditional, stylish, and very representative of their respective appellations. Their premises in the centre of Gevrey are extensive, up-to-date, with a splendid first year barrel cellar.
