At the crossroads between the N6 and the main street (Rue République), this family-run shop window of the baker’s art is highly recommended: pure butter croissants, brioche, and baguettes are impeccable, so too the pâtisserie – great Paris-Brest and Mille Feuille – ice-creams and a model Vacherin. If you happen to arrive on a Tuesday when this branch is closed, try the other one at 32 Rue de la République.
