Bernard Broyer, Domaine Sancy

Address: Les Bucherats, 69848 Juliénas
Tel: 04 74 04 46 75  Fax: 04 74 04 45 18
Geo-coordinates:  Latitude: 46:13:52N (46.23111)    Longitude: 4:43:11E (4.71977)

Bernard is an excellent no-nonsense grower (with son to follow in the business) making fine, concentrated, mineral-rich Juliénas from a 7ha vineyard. The vines have an average age of 60 years, are hand-harvested and spend four months in old foudres (largish oak casks) after fermentation. Therre is also a Chénas from even older vines. No fining or filtering here. The real McCoy.
