The doyen of growers and mayor of Chénas, Fernand Charvet makes some of the classiest, most silken wines of both the lesser–known Chénas cru and those of the more famous Moulin-à-Vent. Jackie Janodet, Charvet’s son-in-law, also makes benchmark examples of oak-aged Moulin-à-Vent, his being some of the longest lived wines in the region.
