A model cooperative of manageable size, Beaumont's growers farm 95ha of fine vineyards mainly on the sunny premier cru slopes of Cumières and Hautvillers. These together with its home village of Mardeuil, just west of Epernay, produce easy, fruity Pinot Meunier, the base for good party Champagne but with more age than most for extra  finesse and harmony of taste. The Fleur de Prestige (60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay) is a very stylish vintage wine for little money: the 2002 is exceptional.

Useful information: Open Monday - Friday 09.00-11.30 and 14.00-17.00. Best to make an appointment. English spoken.
