Nuits de la Guitare

Guitar Nights, one of the highlights of the Corsican summer calendar, is a music festival organised by the Association Les Nuits de la Guitare. For one week in July, this festival puts the tiny village of Patrimonio on the map for something other than its wines. An eclectic and totally unpredictable program may include Corsican, classical and flamenco guitar one year and artists as diverse as Led Zeppelin front man Robert Plant and guitar master Jeff Beck. The event takes place in the open-air Théâtre de Verdure de Patrimonio.

Cap Corse Wine Festival (Fiera de U Vinu)

The Cap Corse Wine Festival is the island’s largest wine fair, attracting winemakers from all nine of the island’s appellations. It’s held the first weekend in July in the village of Luri on the Cap Corse’s eastern shore. This event is one of the most popular in Corsica, and it attracts wine lovers from throughout the island, mainland France and abroad. Besides tasting wine, visitors can enjoy Corsican food specialties, attend music events and visit the village’s wine museum (see 'Wine Attractions').
