Ideal One-Day Itinerary

Stay night before in St-Florent

MORNING
Drive to Patrimonio
Visit 1: Domaine Arena
Visit 2: Clos de Bernardi in Patrimonio
Lunch at Le Bartavin in Patrimonio.

AFTERNOON
Return to St-Florent
Visit 1: Domaine Mariotti Bindi
Visit 2: Domaine d’E Croce
Dinner at La Ferme de Campo di Monte outside Murato (18km south of St-Florent).

 

Ideal Two-Day Itinerary

Stay night before in Patrimonio

Day One
MORNING
Start early for one-hour drive to northern Cap Corse village and port of Centuri
Fish Lunch in The Vieux Moulin restaurant (Tel: 04 95 35 60 15, www.le-vieux-moulin.net)

AFTERNOON
Cross the Cap Corse to Rogliano to taste some of Corsica’s finest and most-difficult-to-find Muscat at the Clos Nicrosi (their shop is opposite the U Ricordu hotel; Tel: 04 95 35 41 17) and the Domaine de Gioielli (Tel: 04 95 35 42 05)
Continue to Macinaggio on the east coast of the Cap Corse to find one of the island’s most beautiful beaches in the Baie de Tamarone (2km wak)
Or visit the port of Macinaggio and have a drink at Les Dock’s (Tel: 04 95 35 95 50).
Head south for dinner and overnight at Le Caribou in Porticciolo.

Day Two
MORNING
Visit Domaine Pieretti

AFTERNOON
Return to Le Caribou for Lunch
Visit Bastia, then romantic dinner at Grazie Mille (Tel: 04 95 32 38 22) in the Place du Marché
Return to St-Florent.
