This classy restaurant, which is run by two brothers, moved recently from the centre of Ajaccio to a seaside location on the Route des Sanguinaires. Beautiful views of the Bay of Ajaccio are on offer, as well as some of the most inventive food available in Ajaccio. The cuisine is traditional Corsican fare given a gourmet twist: sea bass soufflé with broccui cheese and fresh mint; chestnut tagliatelle; a gazpacho dessert made from pineapples. The Mezzacqui brothers entertain on Friday and Saturday nights by playing the guitar and singing traditional Corsican songs.
Useful information: Menu: €42; à la carte, about €45-€50 per person. Credit cards accepted.
