Having farmed their substantial 20ha of vineyards with organic methods since 1999, ten years later in 2009 La Pinte has converted the whole 34-ha domaine to biodynamics. The imposing building below the Pupillin vineyards, just to the south of Arbois, is well worth visiting and there are always some exciting new and experimental wines to taste. The estate has a larger than average area of Savagnin planted (half the vineyards), and some of their wines made with long ageing of Savagnin in topped-up barrels (ouillé) are very successful. Reds can be interesting too. An estate to watch, definitely on the up!
