A simple, modern two-star hotel with 16 rooms in the middle of Lons-le-Saunier with a free public car park opposite. Surprisingly quiet and ideal for a one-night stopover, especially in winter, when much else is closed. The restaurant, named le Rouget de Lisle after the town’s most famous son, is basic but adequate, especially if you have been out for lunch!
