The name of this restaurant refers to an old rule measuring a certain level of nobility - '16 quartiers de noblesse' - required for young girls entering the abbey at Château-Chalon. This is a small, cosy restaurant (about 20 covers), simply decorated, with a large sunny terrace right next to the church in this wonderful hill-top village. It is an ideal stopping-place for lunch, however, only full meals are served, not snacks, and you must be prepared to take your time. The food from a small menu is very well prepared, and the wine list highlights some very good local wines.
