This wine bar and shop is run by wine co-operative grower Arnaud, who offers virtually all the wines by the glass priced between €2 and €3 depending on the bottle price (from below €10 to over €20). Appropriately simple bar food is served to accompany your tasting quest, such as a copious plate of charcuterie (€8). Winegrower tasting evenings too. If this bar is closed, try another good little wine and tapas bar in Pézenas called, quite simply, ‘Le Bar à Vins’ at 20 Cours Jean Jaurès (www.domainelecontedesfloris.com/fr/?page=BarVins) owned by sommelier Xavier Demas and vigneron Daniel Le Conte des Floris.
Useful information: Open Tuesday to Saturday 10.00-12.30 and 15.00-01.00.
