Wine show (producer stands, tasting workshops, wine bar with charcuterie & cheese platters) held on the last weekend of November or first weekend of December celebrating local growers. €2 buys you an embossed glass and three tasting vouchers with proceeds going to Aids charities. The venue is Place de la Comédie in Montpellier city centre and at the participating estates themselves, where you can redeem a free bottle if you buy six.

Half-a-dozen gourmet stop-offs, with a special menu prepared by top local chefs, dotted along a trail around the village of Saint-Jean de Valflaunès.

Three-hour evening walk - this year running around and between the villages of Saint Felix de Lodez and Saint Guiraud with a panorami hill climb - with suitably tasty wine and food sampling as you go.

Similar idea to above but this time around Pézenas old town with guided tour of historic and cultural sites - this year’s edition is called ‘Sur les pas de Molière’, in Molière’s footsteps - as well as wine tastings (showcasing the new AC Languedoc-Pézenas) and posh nibbles served up in six spots.
