Joseph, Marie-Thérèse and brothers Philippe and Jean-Marc Coston were cooperative growers until creating this off-the-beaten-track domaine in 2002. Nine hectares of vineyards have been organically farmed since 1999 and another six are now fully certified organic from 2009. These are all located around the pretty villages of Puéchabon and neighbouring Aniane, some of which fall into the new Terrasses du Larzac sub-zone. Friendly down-to-earth people who’d be happy to sample their wines in the cool old stone cellar: highlights include their liquorice, garrigue and tobacco-tinged, Les Garigoles (Syrah and Grenache) and a funky, creamy barrel-fermented white built from Roussanne and Grenache blanc.
Useful information: Small groups only, they don’t speak much English but a friend of theirs does (a teacher).
