A welcome addition to the Perpignan wine shop scene, La Part des Anges (the Angel’s Share) has two shops on the edges of the city centre, this one to the northeast near the Têt and the second one to the southeast at 32 Avenue Jean Mermoz (Tel: 04 68 66 89 34). They specialize in Roussillon estates but also have several good Languedoc wines, lots of Champagne and unusual rums and whiskies too.
Useful information: Open Tuesday - Saturday 9.00-12.30 and 15.00-19.30 plus Sunday morning. Closed Mondays.
