Jean-Paul Henriquès restored this magnificent hillside estate – which is now run by his son Cyril - on the Força Réal tor (between Millas and Estagel), with far-off views of Perpignan, the Mediterranean, the Corbières hills and the Pyrenees. A personal project spanning over 15 years, they have invested a great deal of energy and money into replanting vineyards (although there are a lot of old vines as well); rebuilding the now orange Mediterranean villa; and constructing an underground barrel cellar and visitor tasting room. There are around 40ha of vines in production and 10ha of olive trees: their extra virgin olive oil is also very good. Lovely range of reds and VDNs (their Rivesaltes Hors d'Age is particularly recommended), ranging from the lively fruity Mas de la Garrigue label to their superb Les Hauts de Força Réal oak-aged red.
