Annual competition culminating in a huge wine festival in late May/early June in Perpignan.

Different producers’ wines available for tasting at the Palais des Rois de Majorque in Perpignan, on rotation from mid-July to the end of August.
Useful information: Organised by the Conseil Interprofessionnal des Vins du Roussillon (see 'Useful Information') as part of the 'Tourisme de Terroir' initiative.
Held in mid-October (usually over the second weekend), lots of tastings, BBQ on the beach and more. (Best if you don’t drive even if only tasting: the police sometimes set up road blocks either side of town and breathalyse everyone! Get the train down from Perpignan) Shuttle buses run between programmed events, limited seats available.
Wine and art festival held in mid-June in Collioure with special tastings, meals and exhibitions. Don’t even think about trying to park though - get the bus or train!
