Château d’Epiré

The château here dates from 1850 and Luc Bizard produces fine and improving Savennières from this small family domaine of 11 hectares. There are four cuvées in their Savennières range: the simple château label; Cuvée Spéciale from the best vats, which customarily come from vines next to the Coulée de Serrant; Hu-Boyau from the oldest parcel of vines that overlook the Loire and a moelleux. There is also a small amount of Anjou Rouge made.

Useful information: Open Monday to Saturday 10.00-12.00 and 14.00-18.30. Groups up to 45 people by appointment.
