In the Caves de la Mignonne, over the Pentecost weekend at the end of May. The Caves de la Mignonne are just outside Sancerre town and you can taste a wide selection of Sancerres plus wine from the other Central Vineyard appellations.
Producers of Pouilly show off their brand new wine – both Pouilly-Fumé and Pouilly-sur-Loire. This is a very early opportunity to get an idea of what the latest vintage is like. The festival is held in late October.
A 3-day festival held each year at the end of October. A mix of blues, jazz and rock. A wonderful opportunity to enjoy live music and to eat and stay at La Cognette (see ‘Places to eat’) – early booking essential.
