The dynamic young Vincent Roussely took over the family vineyards in Angé in 2000 as well as buying vines and a place to make wine in nearby Saint Georges-sur-Cher. Prior to this Vincent had done his training at Bordeaux and Reims and then spent time working at L’Avenir in South Africa, BRL Hardy in Australia and Moët & Chandon in California. Vincent has 22ha of vines, 14ha in Saint Georges-sur-Cher and the rest in Angé. Vincent has the customary range of AC Touraine wines – both still and sparkling. Anthologie du Clos is the top red and is a blend of Cabernet Franc and Côt. In good vintages he also make Libertine, a late-harvest Sauvignon Blanc.
