Bruno Curassier has a well set up tasting room at his winery in the east side of Bléré. Bruno used to sell all his grapes to the local Bléré cooperative but in 2003 he started to make some wine and since 2006 has vinified all the grapes from his 14ha of vines. Domaine de la Grange makes the customary range of AC Touraine wines in all three colours. I find Bruno’s rosé, made from 100% Grolleau delicious and very good value.
Useful information: Open Monday – Friday 10.00-12.00 and 15.00-19.00 plus Saturday 10.00-19.00 however it’s best to make an appointment – Bruno’s mobile phone is 06 60 04 99 19.
