This can be made into a full day outing or a simple vineyard visit. The largest vineyard company in France, Listel owns a staggering 2435 hectares in the Camargue, which include 1325 hectares of nature reserve and horse and bull breeding lands, surrounding some 1100 hectares of vines. To visit the cellars and vineyards, go to their main cellar complex at Domaine de Jarras, between Aigues Mortes and La Grau du Roi, on the D979. They can also arrange a number of activities, including horse riding, visits to the Manades (horse farms), and meals. For horse riding and other activities, visit the Jasse de Daladel, off the D58 about 15km from Arles.

Useful information: A short visit to the cellar with a tasting is €4. Other visits including a trip through the domaine by train can be booked in advance and cost more. Open every day.
