François Sack and Georgina Sack-Zafiropulo own this organic vineyard cooled by moisturising sea breezes and producing clean fresh white and rosé wines. The tasting notes for these whites illustrate the complexity and structure of the wines, including references to citrus, pine, white peaches and wild herbs, mineral notes and a long dry finish. With age the fresh fruit character turns to dried fruit, but it remains an excellent wine to accompany food. Like many of the domaines in Cassis, Clos Ste-Magdeleine is slap-bang in the middle of suburban Cassis.

Useful information: Open Monday to Friday 10.00-12.00 and 15.00-19.00. Weekends by appointment.
