Bandol domaine founded in the 1980s by Alain Pascal, a charismatic and energetic defender of the wines of the region. The reds are aged in large oak foudres, and have abundant garrigue (wild scrublands) and spice flavours. The rosé and white are attractive wines for young to medium term drinking, whilst the reds can age very well for eight to ten years. This is a good, ‘terroir’ style wine for lovers of authentic, rustic reds with good ageing ability.
