Discovery is the right word for this vineyard – the region around Seillans and Fayence hides its vineyards well amongst hilltop villages and holiday villas. This domaine was found by accident after seeing it on the wine list at the restaurant of the Moulin de la Camandoule. Having tracked down the cellar at the end of a long rustic track, a pleasant surprise of a very stylish tasting room and interesting wines, (Rolle (white) and Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot or Syrah reds) made it all worthwhile. Winemaker Anne Dor (a vet by training) and her husband Jean-Daniel produce a selection of good wines. Look out for the friendly dog welcome!
