Domaine Belle is one of the smaller, but good producers of both Crozes-Hermitage and Hermitage. I particularly like the red Hermitage and the top Crozes (Louis Belle), but the whites are also good. There is no fancy tasting room here, you taste in a large modern barn which is also used to store fruit, and the tasting table is also the bottling line. It is not that easy to find. You leave Larnage heading northwest and take the first sharp right where you pick up signs for the domaine and see the barn on the left. There is usually one of the family in the adjacent house, but it is safer to telephone in advance.
