One of the newer and best producers of Crozes Hermitage who also have a little Hermitage in both red and white. This is a new domaine created by the division of the original Domaine Fayolle in to two. This domaine is in the centre of the village of Gervans and should not be mistaken for the other half of the Domaine Fayolle which has a commercial tasting room on the RN 7 and whose wines are far more rustic and less interesting. It is run by brother and sister Laurent and Celine Fayolle who are young, enthusiastic and very welcoming. The wines have gone from strength to strength, with the vines  being mainly on the hillsides in the north of the appellation which produce longer lived, more elegant wines than those on the plain to the south. There are three red and two white Crozes, a red and white Hermitage and a Marc made from Hermitage grape juice. The top Crozes is the Clos des Corinets from a walled vineyard from within the village of Crozes itself, it is one of the most elegant and delicious of all Crozes. There is an attractive tasting room and either Celine or Larent give time to take visitors through their range of wines.

Useful information: Open Monday-Friday 9.30-12.00 and 14.00-18.00. Saturday and Sunday by appointment only. Groups welcome. Both Celine and Laurent speak English.
