Held on the last Sunday in January or the first Sunday in February, a range of local wines, Côtes de Ventoux, and truffle specialities are exhibited. There is also a more serious truffle market held in Carpentras each Friday morning in the truffle season, but this is more for the wholesalers and restaurant customers, who carry out their purchases in almost religious silence, and almost entirely in cash (‘liquide’). Also at Carpentras, the annual Saint Siffrein Fair is held on the 27 November. This large fair covers wines, vine plants and food specialities, as well as agricultural stands, antiques/bric-a-brac and combining with a horse fair.
There is also an excellent Truffle fair in late December to early January in Menerbes, 'Les Rencontres Internationales de la Truffe' with tastings, small truffle oaks for sale, and dishes such as truffle omelette to taste.

Each year in the summer, in mid August, the village holds a fete, where you can taste a range of wines, with music, food and pageant.
The village of Vacqueyras holds an annual local wine fair in mid-July, around the bank holiday of Bastille Day, 14 July. Local producers have stands, and the wines are available for tasting and sales.
Orange is host to a three-week music festival in July and August, Les Chorégies, with operatic and symphonic concerts.
