MORNING
Drive to Châteauneuf du Pape
Coffee in one of the bars in central Châteauneuf
Visit 1: Domaine de la Charbonnière
Visit 2: Domaine La Barroche
Cross the Rhône at Roquemaure, and drive to Tavel for lunch at the Auberge de Tavel

AFTERNOON
Visit Domaine de Rocalière, Tavel
Drive to Noves for dinner and to stay the night at the Auberge de Noves

Ideal Two-Day Itinerary

Day One

MORNING
Drive to Châteauneuf du Pape
Coffee in one of the bars in central Châteauneuf
Visit 1: Domaine de la Charbonnière
Visit 2: Domaine La Barroche
Cross the Rhône at Roquemaure, and drive to Tavel for lunch at the Auberge de Tavel

AFTERNOON
Visit Domaine de Rocalière, Tavel
Drive to Noves for dinner and to stay the night at the Auberge de Noves

Day Two

MORNING
Drive from Noves to Beaucaire, via Tarascon
Admire the splendid castles on either side of the Rhône as you cross the bridge to Beaucaire.
Visit 1: Domaine Mourgues de Grès, Beaucaire
Visit 2: Château d’Or et de Gueules, St Gilles
Lunch in Nîmes, Aux Plaisirs des Halles

AFTERNOON
Visit Mas Carlot, between Redessan and Bellegarde
Return to Avignon for dinner
