You can only stay or dine at this hotel restaurant in the summer months between May and October, but it is well worth it if you are looking for somewhere original and well placed not far from Albertville. An old 14th century watchtower, it has been converted into a hotel with great taste; each room is different and named after a flower. Be warned that some of the ten rooms are quite small and those at the top of the tower are only reached by a narrow and steep staircase, but details and photos on the website help you choose; there is one suite. The large garden with gorgeous views is very peaceful and there is a swimming pool and a boules area. The dining room has large windows and there is a lovely terrace. The food is well presented and tasty with a wide choice of menus including one Savoie menu. The wine list has a good selection of Savoie wines with several producers we feature including nearby producers Philippe & Jean-Pierre Grisard and Domaine Vullien and from further afield Berthollier and Dupasquier.
