Maurice Jeandet has run this shop in the airy town hall square for 29 years. Check out the brass barrel tap handle as you go in. He has a conservative selection of wines including local wines from André et Michel Quenard, Louis Magnin and Edmond Jacquin et Fils among others. You will also find Mondeuse from Michel Grisard (Domaine Prieuré St-Christophe) and from the Trosset brothers (almost impossible to visit). There is a wide selection of whiskies and a good choice of local spirits/liqueurs including a full range of Chartreuses, Génepis and the local Vermouths from Dolin, such as Chambéryzette (now available with the traditional alpine strawberry label or in modern packaging showing the Chambéry elephants on the bottle and re-named Chambéry Fraise). The shop stocks a range of oils, sauces etc. from the Paris delicatessen Hédiard.
