Highly-rated Madiran producer, Jean-Marc Laffitte is known also for his dry Pacherenc Cuvée Erica, consistently the best in that tiny appellation. In his beautiful new winery, Jean-Marc is a welcoming host, a rugby fan (of course) and his wines are very good value. Try the quaffing red Cuvée Joris.
