Saint Bourrou Festival at Marcillac

Open air mass in thanksgiving for the previous year’s crop, winegrowers’ processions etc., enthronements into the local winemaking guild, and protracted tastings.

Useful information: On Whitsun Monday (usually the end of May) each year.

Summer Wine Fairs at Gaillac

At each fair around fifty local growers show their wines. Great chance to get an overview of what is available. No charge except that you may have to buy a glass which becomes yours for a few euros. Spectacular fireworks on the Sunday night.

Useful information: Held in the park of the Château de Foucaud over the 2nd weekend in August. Similar events are held for Coteaux du Quercy at Castelnau-Montratier (2nd Sunday in August) and Fronton (4th weekend in August) in both cases in the main square.
