This property has been in the Jouffreau family since the 17th century, so they know perfectly well how to make top-class Cahors in the traditional way. The Jouffreau family (Martine and Maryse Jouffreau, together with with Yves Hermann-Jouffreau) also own Château de Cayrou, whose wines are a little lighter in style.
