Philippe Teulier produces fruity country Marcillac, exclusively from the Fer Servadou grape, here known as Mansois. The soil, containing a great deal of iron is a brilliant purply red in this district, like the wine itself. Again, no white wine. The reds and rosés are ideal with charcuterie and light entrées. Try also the white Vin de Pays.
