Ideal One-Day Itinerary Around San Gimignano

MORNING
Visit 1: Tenute Guicciardini Strozzi
Visit 2: Sono Montenidoli
Lunch: Agriturismo Poggio Alloro

AFTERNOON
Visit 3: Visit San Gimignano town
Visit 4: La Mormoraia
Dinner: La Mormoraia also for overnight stay

 

Ideal Two-Day Itinerary in Chianti Classico

Day One

MORNING
Visit 1: Castello di Volpaia
Visit 2: Coltibuono
Lunch at the Coltibuono restaurant

AFTERNOON
Visit 3: Castello di Ama – if you make it to the 14.00 visit only Wednesday or Friday, if not and you like ceramics visit ceramiche Rampini.  If you just want to do wine and Castello di Ama is not open for visits got to Castello di Brolio and then to Fontodi which is in Panzano
Visit 4: Castello di Brolio
Dinner: Dario Cecchini – Solociccia in Panzano or the Vescovino and overnight at Villa Sangiovese in Panzano

Day Two

MORNING
Visit 1: Fattoria Le Corti
Visit 2: Castello di Verrrazzano
Lunch at Castello di Verrazzano

AFTERNOON
Visit 3: Castello di Vicchiomaggio
Visit 4: Castello d’Albola
Dinner: Relais il Vingale
Overnight accommodation: overnight at Villa Sangiovese in Panzano or Relais il Vignale in Radda in Chianti
