La Locanda del Vino Nobile is an elegant venue in the small hamlet of Sant’Albino, 3km from Montepulciano. Traditional, fine local cuisine is prepared by the owner chef. Specialities include hand-rolled pici (Montalcino’s traditional pasta) and excellent fired lamb. They also have a very good assortment of home-made desserts.

Useful information: Average cost of a three-course meal without wine: €35-€40. Closed on Monday, except by prior reservation. Cooking classes available €80. Five guest rooms available from €60-€100.
